An award-winning Architectural Practice seeks an efficient and experienced HR Manager for a maternity cover contract of c.10-12 months. An excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Manager with 5 years’ experience within a dedicated HR role and a CIPD qualification, to oversee a broad range of responsibilities such as employee relations, payroll, recruitment and ad-hoc administrative duties.
Reporting to the Partners and working alongside one direct report, the HR Manager will possess experience and knowledge of various HR processes and be able to implement these in line with the business needs. It is crucial that the successful candidate is knowledgeable of GDRP requirements and understands the importance of confidentiality.
Working with a sociable and collaborative Team, you will oversee recruitment by reviewing CVs, coordinating interviews, and produce all relevant documentation in relation to offers. In addition to this, the HR Manager will oversee all induction processes for new starters and employee relations, consulting Senior Management on best HR practice and offering advice and support to employees on work related issues and ensuring issues are handled in a diplomatic and professional manner. It is crucial that the HR Manager is diligent and proactive with implementing training and development programmes, ensuring review meetings are scheduled and develop structured training and development programs for all staff. Payroll will also be part of the HR Manager’s remit and will be prepared monthly in time for deadlines.
