Are you an experienced Operations Manager with at least 5 years’ experience drafting contracts for major UK and international projects? A rising star of the Architecture industry requires a part-time Finance and Operations Manager with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive forward the ambitions of a thriving design practice. This is a part-time role for 2-3 days a week and would suit a strategic Operations Manager who has accrued excellent industry experience and is now seeking a flexible working plan.

Functioning as a key player in the Management team, this role will be split between business and financial management, contract writing and negotiation, resourcing and new business activities and drawing on their professional expertise to appropriately resolve any operational challenges. The Finance & Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of studio finances, from creating annual budgets in conjunction with the CEO and forecasting revenue, to invoicing clients, maintaining credit control and working closely with Auditors. With a dynamic, design-led and forward-thinking approach to Architecture, this studio is fronted by an extremely high-profile Founder with a spectacular portfolio of captivating, high-end schemes across multiple sectors. Procuring new work in the UK and globally (with a strong presence in China), the Finance & Operations Manager will lead contract negotiations with worldwide clients and must possess similar experience within the Architecture or wider Design industries. It is essential that the successful candidate can communicate clearly with an international perspective, tact and sensitivity, as well as demonstrate the ability to positively influence people towards key targets and help them to recognise their significance towards these objectives.

As the in-house authority on business objectives and achieving profitability, you will be instrumental in setting company targets, recommending actions to improve performance and profitability and ensuring management information is readily available for the team. The studio’s projects include prominent collaborations with some of the world’s most prestigious design companies and generate huge international media traction. With an exceptional reputation for distinctive and tailored Architecture, the Finance & Operations Manager will commit to recruiting the very best in design talent to advance the practice’s reputation, operations and expertise.

This is your opportunity to shape, define and progress a vibrant Architecture studio at the forefront of beautiful, thought-provoking design. Apply today to join a sociable, inclusive and celebrated team!

We will do our very best to help you find your ideal job. Our approach is personable and we believe that your job hunting experience should be enjoyable. We look forward to hearing from you.
