If you're an Architectural Technician with a high level of expertise and demonstrable experience within the Residential sector, then this could be the ideal move for you.

We require an Architectural Technician with energy and enthusiasm to join the remarkable residential team of an ever-expanding multidisciplinary practice. With a whole host of imaginative and innovative projects successfully delivered from their 2 offices, this particular role will be based in Bedford.

Recently completed projects of the team you will be joining include luxury city centre apartment blocks, award-winning redevelopments of listed buildings, mixed-use schemes in sustainable locations and masterplans for developments of c.700 homes.

If your passion lies within the Residential sector, then your needs will not be left wanting with such a range of interesting and inspiring projects!

You will be responsible for delivering projects from inception through to Planning Determination (as guided by the Project Designer) as well as drafting the necessary Planning Drawings, especially House Types and multi-unit Planning Layouts, and assist in producing all supporting documentation. As such, the ideal Architectural Technician will come with comprehensible experience with Planning Stage schemes for National Housebuilders or an Architectural practice specialising in large residential developments.

We are looking for Architectural Technicians who ideally hold a HND/Degree qualification in Architectural Technology, extensive working knowledge of construction/UK building regulations and proficiency with AutoCAD & Photoshop.

Architectural Technician Requirements:

Minimum 3 years industry experienceA proven track-record within the Residential sectorAdept project-runner with demonstrable experienceProficiency with AutoCAD & PhotoshopSketchUp experience would also be desirableExcellent communication skills - able to establish and maintain client relationships

The successful Architectural Technician will also be entitled to a highly competitive salary, likely to be in the range of £30-£40k as well as an extensive benefits package which includes:
