Part 2 Architectural Assistant required for a growing Multi-disciplinary Architectural Practice based in Shipley, West Yorkshire. Our client are specialists at delivering large commercial projects to clients in the Retail, Industrial and Logistical Industries across the whole of the UK, due to various new commissions and a healthy pipeline of future work they are now looking to expand their business once again. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join the practice on a full-time, permanent basis and to become an essential part of their skilled team. To be short listed you must be Part 2 Qualified, reside reasonably local to the Shipley area and have some UK based work experience within an Architectural Practice. Requirements of the Part 2 Architectural Assistant ·Current UK recognised Part 2 Qualification·At least 2 years UK based Practice based work experience. ·Good balance of both Design flair and Technical knowledge·Experience of using AutoCAD and preferably REVIT. ·Articulate, conversant and well versed in the process of various RIBA stages of work ·Overall excellent verbal, Written and Personal client facing skills.·Ambitions to become a fully qualified Architect. Main Duties of the part 2 Architectural Assistant ·Assistance with formulating and communicating the brief effectively to colleagues as required·Carry out studies and design proposals for review·Cooperate with other members of the design team·Ensure design proposals conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards·Articulate, conversant and well versed in the process of various RIBA stages of work ·Providing a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within deadlines·Assistance with planning applications, Building Regulations and appeals Salary depending on experience £24,000 - £25,000 per annum + benefits.
