Timber Frame Technician

A talented and dedicated Timber Frame Technician is required to be a part of this extraordinary team, working on some of the most exciting and innovative developments in the UK. Projects include new homes, offices, restaurants and amenities in the region's city centres.

The purpose of the position is to be the link between the drawing board and the manufacturing process, all of the construction drawings and housing modules are designed using REVIT, once the detailed designs have been completed it is then critical that the handover of technical information to the manufacturing side of business runs smoothly so the timber modules can be processed accurately and within the specified design.

You will play a leading role in optimising the design and specification of various housing types which are constructed exclusively from timber frame building technique, therefor some previous experience of designing and delivering residential projects with a timber frame design is essential

Assisting in the production of architectural technical drawing packages. Production and management of the timber frame fabrication drawings.Model management (all disciplines)Drawing set ownershipBIM Content development (Training provided)BIM Collaboration/CoordinationClash detectionMaintaining model library within an online portalEnsure construction documents accuracy based on their standard fabrication model

If this role sounds interesting to you, you must possess the following:

BSc HONS Architectural Technology or fully qualified Architect At least 5 years' experience of professional environmentProficient in Revit and the ability to learn new software as and when requiredKnowledge of AutoCADExcellent project management skillsUnderstanding of UK Building RegulationsExcellent communicator of ideas and viewsGood at managing deadlines

Salary offered for this role is up to £35,000 deo plus staggering benefits including:
