Conrad Consulting are working exclusively for a well-established design consultancy who have forged a reputation as market leaders in the Extra-Care sector. For over 20 years they have assisted their clients in delivering successful schemes that respond to the growing demand for care accommodation in the UK - making this opportunity one with a promising future.

Their experience ranges from new build projects to refurbishments and extensions and they have been involved in the development of over 100 care facilities, primarily care homes but also extra care apartments, assisted living developments and learning disability housing.

Having already secured a portfolio of work that exceeds the year's targets, this company have been well-placed to steer through the uncertainty that the Covid Pandemic brought along and instead they find themselves in a strong position to continue to grow the business! As such they are looking to hire talented individuals, including a Senior Architectural Technician, who are ready to hit the ground running and help the company to evolve.

We are looking for a highly competent Senior Architectural Technician with a minimum of 10 years continuous experience in architectural practice who can demonstrate the ability to run projects independently whilst overseeing the Junior Technicians at the company. You will be required to be proactive and organised in managing a programme across all stages of complex projects within the Extra-Care sector. As such, we will be looking for solid experience of direct client liaison and responsibility for project delivery including monitoring quality, costs and deadlines throughout construction projects.

Other Senior Architectural Technician Requirements:

Be a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) - desirableDemonstrable experience in a client-facing roleExperience in managing a team, programming of resource and responsibility for team deliveryExposure to internal financial management of a projectExperience within the Extra-Care sector - desirableOutstanding project management and organisation skills able to manage multiple projects at different RIBA work stages 0 - 7Great understanding of how the design aspects of a construction project influence & relate to performance & functional issuesExperience & understanding of UK Building Regulations, Robust Details, BREEAM & CDM RegulationsProficiency with AutoCAD, Revit & Sketch UpExcellent communication skillsFull UK driving licence

The successful Senior Architectural Technician will receive a highly competitive salary likely to be in the range of £40-£50k dependant on experience as well as the following fantastic benefits:
