Town Planner

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving market leader in planning, who provide guidance and planning services for; private homeowners/landowners, national corporate organisations, housing associations, to local businesses.
As part of the Senior Planner role, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of often complex planning applications and appeals, as well as project managing a broad mix of planning submissions. You will work within a team led by one of our clients Partners and will have exposure in supporting junior members of staff in their projects. You will strive for innovation and creativity; looking from all directions and angles to produce ideas and solutions that enhance the clients' businesses.
The successful candidate:
-Will have a positive attitude, together with the drive and enthusiasm to develop their career.
-Will be MRTPI qualified.
-Will have a comprehensive knowledge of the planning system.
-Will have excellent writing and communication skills.
-Will have a clean driver's license.
-Will have a minimum of 3 years planning experience.
-Will be able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
