Senior Landscape Architect
Conrad Consulting in partnership with one of the UK's largest architectural practices, are recruiting for a Senior Landscape Architect, to join the regional office in Shrewsbury. The practice are prominent, and consistent in their appearance in the AJ100 list of architectural practices, and have offices located throughout the UK and internationally. This practice delivers a range of services across a variety of disciplines, allowing the successful individual to work alongside experienced architects, interior designers and landscape architects, gaining first-hand experience and guidance within a multidisciplinary environment on a variety of challenging and contemporary projects. This role would suit a Senior Landscape Architect that is looking to take their career to the next level. You will be provided with the opportunity to lead a team within the Landscape division of the business, which will involve heading up projects from inception to completion and ensuring your team delivers work on time and within budgets. You will be leading a team of Junior/Intermediate level Landscape Architects, delivering projects in a variety of sectors, including; schools and higher education, offices and work spaces, innovation centres, residential developments and masterplanning, health centres and more. As a Senior Landscape Architect there will also be elements of business development in this role, where you will be presented with the opportunity to win new work of your own to bring in to the business. There is a company bonus scheme involved in this aspect, which will be discussed at interview stage. As a minimum, you will hold 5 years of experience post chartership and will have proven experience of leading Landscape schemes from start to finish. It would also be highly advantageous for you to have experience in going out and winning new work, particularly in the Residential sector. Other requirements for this role as a Senior Landscape Architect include the following: A degree in Landscape ArchitectureCMLI chartered statusCompetency in the use of AutoCAD, with 3D rendering packages an advantage.Experience of LVIA and Landscape & Visual Appraisals as part of the planning process.Ability to prepare detail design and working drawingsSound knowledge of UK Planning processes & Building Regulations Salary will be negotiable dependant on experience and will be accompanied by a generous benefits package. Salary is likely to be within the region of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, along with discretionary bonus scheme, private pension and healthcare.
