Urban are working closely with one of the Top AJ100 architectural studios in Shrewsbury on their requirement for a Senior Landscape Architect to work across a broad range of projects.

Working collaboratively with architects, external project teams, local authorities, private developers and contractors, the Senior Landscape Architect will be given the opportunity to lead on multiple projects in a variety of sectors.

The studio are consistently bidding (and winning) a range of sustainable projects across a diverse range of sectors: higher education projects, offices and innovation centres, residential developments and masterplans, health and wellbeing centres and more.

As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will be expected to be commercially aware and have a proven track record of managing challenging projects across multiple sectors. A diverse portfolio of work will be an advantage.

Responsibilities for the role will see the Senior Landscape Architect manage projects from inception to completion from initial footprint and concept to on-site and completion. Strict deadline and budget management will be essential. As a Senior you will be the key driving force in the team, supporting and mentoring junior members of the team to help with their professional development.

The Senior Landscape Architect will be a crucial focal point between the team, clients and consultants in ensuring clear communication and progress on the projects and delivering high levels of customer service. This position will suit an approachable and driven individual with a positive attitude and work-ethic.

Software skills in Revit will be an advantage. Further skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign and SketchUp are essential.

Qualification Experience:

- Degree or Post Graduate diploma in Landscape Architecture preferably from a school accredited by the Landscape Institute

- Chartered status CMLI having successfully completed the LI Pathway to Chartership (P2C)

- Experience of LVIA and Landscape & Visual Appraisals as part of the Planning process advantageous
