Senior Architectural Technologist / Project Runner

Conrad Consulting are working with a busy Architectural Practice in Nottingham City Centre that have a unique opening!

The practice are looking for a Senior Architectural Project Manager to support in the management and control of design and technical work. This role would suit an experienced Architectural Technologist or technically orientated Architect, that is well accustomed to leading a full design team throughout most RIBA work stages in medium to large scale projects.

This award winning practice offer dynamic and diverse design, creating modern buildings, refurbishments and conversions. In addition to Architecture, this practice specialist in Master Planning, Interior Design & Construction Management. Projects are within the Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure & Conservation sectors.

This interesting opportunity will see the Senior Architectural Project Manager join the Public Sector team. These projects are fast paced, offering exciting design construction challenged and targets. Other responsibilities of the Senior Architectural Project Manager include:

Developing the work programme and managing deadlines to a successful conclusion, working closely with the Senior AssociateUnderstanding and supporting production information including technical details, working drawings and quality controlCoordination of Specialist Consultants with an awareness of each specialist and how this is applied in the design coordination Support and manage the design production of working information from RIBA Stage 3 through to 5.Overall responsibility for day-to-day management of a large number of key projects

If this role sounds interesting, you must have the following:

Experience in managing and organising a design team, throughout most of the RIBA work stages, ensuring key deadlines are metExperience working on projects from feasibility, through pre and post-planning permission, construction to final accountExperience in producing Designer Risk RegistersAwareness of UK statutory regulationsExperience of using NBS Create for specification writingAbility to programme work content and support the team in deliveryThorough demonstratable knowledge of technical construction and detailing being proficient and working in the first instance with Revit, (AutoCAD would also be advantageous)Good client-facing communication skills and experience in liaising and coordinating work with specialist consultants

The successful Senior Architectural Project Manager will be working in a modern, city centre office, alongside a friendly team of experts. Salary offered is £38,000 - £47,500 plus competitive benefits package.
