Senior Interior Designer - for prestigious AJ100 practice

White Space is delighted to be assisting this prestigious AJ100 practice in their urgent search for a Senior Interior Designer. This role is initially on a 3 month contract basis and there is good potential for it to lead into a longer term role.

The Practice:

Based in EC2, this well-established international AJ100 practice has around 100 people (10 in the interiors team) in their London office. They work across a broad range of sectors including commercial, hospitality, retail and housing. Most of the projects tend to be large scale and they very often take projects all the way through from inception to completion. They are close to being a fully REVIT practice and have a sophisticated BIM setup + structure. It's a nice place to work and offers a good work life balance - they are not known for a long hours culture. They treat their employees very well and as a result have low staff turnover.

The Project/Role:

The project is a VERY large retail-led mixed use project in the Middle East which is currently at the design development stage. This is a senior role reporting to two Associates (one on the architecture side and the other on the interiors side) and you will be responsible of all the day to day project running. Your main responsibilities will be to lead all of the interiors components on the project, to deliver the design packages and to help manage + delegate to the more junior people on the team. This role also requires somebody with very strong REVIT skills.

The Person:

• Senior Interior Designer; with large project experience
• We're not looking for a retail specialist as such (as they already have a strong capacity for retail within the team), this role is much more to do with project running and leading the team + leading interiors components on this large scheme
• Somebody capable of talking to clients
• REVIT is an absolute must
