Senior Architect (Pharmaceutical)

Urban are currently working with a global consulting, multi-discipline engineering and construction management company in Ireland on their requirement for a Senior Architect to join their design studio.

The company are a multi-disciplinary studio that specialise in the project management, design and construction management of predominantly Life Science and Pharmaceutical buildings.

The suitable candidate will be a qualified RIAI Architect and have experience in leading a design team and coordinating the other team members through all stages of projects. Previous Project Manager experience will be an advantage.

With the company working within specific sectors, the candidate must have previous and relevant project background in Industrial/ Pharmaceutical/ Bio-Pharma/ Life Science sectors and be technically proficient in detailing these building types.

A broad range of project sector experience will also be considered, with mixed-use commercial development project background being desirable. Knowledge of cleanroom materials and projects will be an advantage.

As a Senior Architect, candidates must have strong design, technical and construction knowledge, combined with detailing, design development and tender pack assembly and coordination. An in-depth knowledge of the Statutory Consent processes (Planning, FSCA, DAC), current Building Regulations, and the BC(A)R process is also essential.

The studio completes all work in BIM/Revit so experience in this will be required.
