Work Scheduler required or Local Authority in Nottinghamshire


Your new company
An opportunity to work for a local authority in Nottinghamshire where you will benefit from full time hours Mon-Thurs and an early finish every Friday. You will have the option to work from home or work from their office. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Your new role
In your new role you will be required to liaise with in-house contractors to coordinate Housing maintenance across the local area. Repairs can range from minor works to major damage-related refurbishments. You will schedule all repairs using DRS (Dynamic Resource Scheduler) and will be required to make arrangements via telephone. You will be required to organise, plan and prioritise your own workload to ensure deadlines/targets are met with minimum supervision. Additionally, you will be required to negotiate and influence tenants in order to arrange repairs at convenient times.

What you'll need to succeed
You should have a Level 3 qualification in Construction and Building Environment or a relevant Level 2 qualification and significant previous experience in building maintenance operations. You will be experienced in project management and work scheduling over a range of building tasks. Ideally you will have prior experience using DRS in a similar role. You must have the ability to communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders including tenants, operatives, councillors, service co-coordinators and subcontractors.
