Senior Surveyor

Housing Association looking for a Senior Surveyor responsible for the management of surveyors and workload.

Your new company
Your new company is a leading charitable housing association providing housing assistance through affordable rent and tailored housing solutions. They are responsible for well over 1000 properties mainly in small estates all over the United Kingdom.

Your new role
You will be responsible providing technical building surveying services for the organisation's UK wide portfolio. You will have the responsibility of supervising the work of 3-4 internal surveyors, and ensuring top quality service to the organisation's clients.

The role entails elements of repairs & major works, deli very of planned projects, managing contractors, timely response to complaints, and advising the Property Services Director on operational efficiencies. You will also be responsible for providing regular reports on all programmed works and ensuring the organisation's asset management strategy is maintained.

What you'll need to succeed

• MRICS or similar qualification preferred
• People management experience
• Excellent technical knowledge about buildings and property maintenance
• Experience in planned programme/project management
• Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, housing and property management systems
  

What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will earn £48,000-£50,000 + a generous benefits package
