Fire safety Engineer, Permanent position, York, Salary negotiable

Your new company
A busy medium sized multi-disciplined practice based in York require an experienced Fire Safety Engineer to join their busy team. Located just outside the city centre with free parking on site this is an excellent opportunity to work alongside architects and structural engineers on fast paced exciting projects.

Your new role
As part of your new role within this team you will be responsible for leading and producing compliant fire safety strategies for building projects, liaising with eh design team and regulatory authorities. You will be be expected to undertake fire integrity / compartmentation surveys and prepare designs and specifications as well as other responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need: Good knowledge and understanding of all relevant parts of the building regulations and British Standards; MFireE and IFE Level 5 Diploma in Fire Engineering Design; minimum experience in the profession of 5 years; member of the Institute of Fire Engineers; proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
