An incredibly creative architecture studio in Camden with a family like culture is seeking a Studio Coordinator with a focus in HR to support their team of 30 architects. This position is incredibly important in the studio, this person is the point of call for any issues for staff members. Reporting to the Practice Manager, this person will also assist with general administrative tasks in the studio.

 

Key Responsibilities

HR

  • Working with Senior Management to coordinate and manage resource requirements

  • Create and maintain job descriptions, person specifications and role profiles

  • Advertising job opportunities and manage the recruitment process

  • Onboarding of recruits, issuing offer letters, employment contracts and managing induction process

  • Moral and motivation management, addressing any conflicts and remedying

  • Organisation and management of staff development reviews

  • Identify training opportunities and organise as required

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and employment law regulations

  • Maintain office policies and procedures including staff and office manuals

  • Payroll – collating and managing information provided to outsourced payroll and checking accuracy of data

  • Maintain salary sacrifice schemes

  • Holiday allocation and control

  • Sick leave management

  • Manage exit process for leavers

  • Maintain and grow industry network contacts

 

General Admin

  • Answering phones

  • Greeting visitors

  • Maintain and help improve office processes and procedures

  • Travel arrangements for staff

  • Project Admin as required

  • Liaison with landlords, building managers, other tenants and third-party suppliers

  • Maintaining office stocks and supplies

  • Security training for staff

  • Maintaining membership – ARB, RIAI, RIBA

  • RIBA Benchmarking

  • Managing cleaner and other services

  • Support and assist Practice Manager

  • Personal matters for Director
