Business Rates Surveyor

Central London consultancy looking for Chartered Ratings Surveyor to join Business Rates team.

Your new company
You will be joining a well-established Central London consultancy run by an experienced team of partners. The firm is over 100 years old and specialises in all areas of real estate services for a wide range of clients. You will be joining the Business Rates team and will benefit from the collaborative nature of the company and cross-specialism support.

Your new role
You will be a Senior Surveyor/Associate providing rates appeal and mitigation advice to landlords, occupiers, investors and developers. You will be managing your own client base and developing strong business relationships.

You will also be assisting in the preparation of Valuation Tribunal procedural documents including statement of case. Your clients will range from offices, retail and industrial, to schools and hospitals.

What you'll need to succeed

• MRICS Qualified with ratings experience
• Excellent knowledge of rating legislation and case law
• Good communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Good time management

What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will earn between £55,000 and £65,000 depending on experience.
