Architectural Technician / Senior Architectural Technician (Contract)

Urban are working with an award-winning Design and Engineering firm in the West Midlands that specialises in complex infrastructure and built environment within a variety of project sectors.    

Looking to add several Architectural Technicians/ Senior Technicians to their existing teams, my client are predominantly working within large industrial, defence, pharmaceutical and healthcare projects throughout the UK and internationally. Project values up to £300 million+. 

The Technician will be responsible for the production of detailed drawings and models using a mixture of software packages, with the ideal candidate having experience in one or more of the following: AutoCAD 2D or 3D, Microstation, 3DS Max and SketchUp. Professional Revit experience is essential.      

Desirable project experience includes life science, pharmaceutical, industrial, manufacturing and energy, transport (rail and aviation), nuclear and public services typology experience but knowledge within these fields is by no means essential.

The length of this contract is on-going and rolling dependent upon workload (of which the studio are stacked with projects for well into the 2021 and beyond).
