Project Design Manager

Your new company
A specialist Main Contractor who are based in Nottinghamshire are seeking to appoint a Project Design Manager to join their team due to continued success in the market. This organisation have works across the Retail, Hotel, Student Accommodation, MOD & Education sectors.

Your new role
You will be primarily responsible for executing the design in line with client requirements and will be the main technical contact for the project working alongside the Project Manager and Contracts Manager.

- Facilitate the completion of designs within the set date across multiple projects.
- Line manage Design Engineers and CAD Technicians.
- Create design risk assessments in line with CDM requirements.
- Play a key part in the selection of sub-contractors ensuring they are capable of delivering the project.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have comprehensive knowledge of CAD software, preferably AutoCAD or REVIT (any other 3D modelling software will also a benefit). You must have prior experience managing members of a design team within a construction company and be qualified to degree level or HND/HNC level.
