Senior Chartered Architect

Your new company
A new position has been created with an award winning AJ100 Practice in Birmingham that is looking to expand its Industrial & Commercial division. This Practice has established offices across the UK including Birmingham, London & Leeds.


Your new role
You will need to demonstrate a capability of delivering projects on site (preferably in the industrial sector, but this is not essential) as the role will be taking projects from inception to completion.

Project work will involve you working both as part of a team and independently, so they're looking for someone who is flexible / adaptable to changing circumstances. A strong ability to detail is required, noting the implications of decisions made at this level on the overall design deliverability.

Equally a good design eye is required to ensure any projects worked upon, continue to meet the original proposal or that the initial design is sound and deliverable. Many of the projects that will be worked on will be Design and Build, requiring a proactive mentality to work with many third parties to solve issues and challenges as the buildings go up.


What you'll need to succeed

• Revit capability is essential for this position as is a strong knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM Level 2.
• A minimum 5 years post Qualification experience (RIBA or ARB) working for a well established Architectural Practice working on UK based projects.
• The successful individual will have good client facing skills, be able to build rapport with others easily and have an attitude of bringing third parties together to achieve successful outcomes.
