Health and Safety Advisor

Hays are seeking a CDM Consultant to join the Health and Safety team of a leading consultancy; a well-respected and established company who offer a range of construction related services, based in the south east with projects across London, the Home Counties, East Anglia and further afield.

Although joining an existing team, this is a new role, the requirement borne from their burgeoning workload and further plans for growth. As a CDM consultant you will assist the Principal Designer on design management and construction elements, focusing on health and safety risk management, while coordinating and compiling design information to enable teams to comply with H&S responsibilities. The company is particularly keen to speak to candidates with design-focused experience/employment within their background.

The company is based in Essex, but candidates situated within the whole of the South East, including London are encouraged to apply; as the company can offer flexibility around remote working and usage of the office, to fit in with the successful candidate's location and circumstances.

Key Requirement:

You will have a minimum of 5 years specific industry experience within CDM working on a range of projects in terms of size and complexity with specific focus on designer, client & contractors' duties and responsibilities.

OR... NEBOSH, construction preferred, or other health and safety qualification with industry experience, involving the implementation & management of safety.
