New Senior Design Manager role based in NW London with leading Tier 1 developer on Pre-Construction and Design

You will be joining one of the UK's leading regional builders, working within many different sectors throughout the country across hundreds of health, education and prison projects.
Your new role
Senior Design Manager to lead on a new healthcare project in our Southern region. The main purpose of the role is to co-ordinate and integrate the activities of our external design consultants. You will also be assisting on pre-construction activities and tender opportunities, and will be asked to control and interrogate the activities of external design consultants including scope of services, responsibilities & fees. We will look to you to drive innovative and cost-effective solutions into the design, progress design issues within strict timescales, and attend tender launch/adjudication meetings as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, we're looking for those with a solid experience in a design role with a main contractor; healthcare project experience; have an understanding of different Client procurement routes; experience of site/contract procedures; and have an understanding of Building Regulations and Planning Permission procedures.
