Kitchen Designer

Hays are working with a respected and established kitchen design and manufacturing company, who are seeking a London based kitchen design professional, to help them continue their growth in the south east. The firm has a long-standing reputation. They offer bespoke and stylish solutions to their clients. They are seeking an experienced, proactive, and talented kitchen designer/surveyor to be apart of their hard-working team.

The home will be home-based. Ideal location is centred around south London and the surrounding. Driving licence is essential. A company car, laptop and mobile phone are provided.

Your role is to produce new kitchen designs whilst undertaking pre-installation surveys in client properties. You will be following customer specifications while giving continual guidance, as well as adhering-to and benefiting from the company design standards, for which you will receive full training. You will be the full face and point of contact of the company to your customers, the key site representative, and in turn you will liaise with the company, colleagues at all levels, and third parties too; taking personal ownership of the delivery of projects.

• Creating accurate kitchen designs from surveys you have undertaken.
• Understanding interpreting and following customer design briefs
• Continual contact with customer, escalating any issues through the customer and colleagues if required.

These are just a few of the key duties, however a full job spec can be provided.

Previous kitchen design experience is essential, as is a driving licence. The role is very much autonomous, and experienced kitchen designers who are excited of the prospect of travel within London and the south east, managing their own time and projects, are encouraged to apply.
