Architectural Technician/Technologist

Urban are working alongside an established award-winning architectural studio in Hampshire as they look to welcome the addition of Architectural Technicians/Technologists – CIAT or MCIAT to their exciting team following recent project wins.

Boasting a very healthy pipeline of work with multi-projects across their studio, the team are extremely busy and are looking to add to their existing set up with the addition of Technical staff.

The studio has received multiple awards throughout their history, with high-acclaim and consistent recognition for their high-quality approach to design and their commitment to sustainable projects.

The studio is looking for Architectural Technicians/Technologists that have excellence through planning, tender, building regulation and in construction details/drawing. The suitable Technicians will have up to date knowledge of all UK building regulations and construction information, with an excellence in knowing how buildings come together and are built.

Strong experience in Residential and Housing projects will be essential. The studio has a large portfolio of work with housing developers, associations and contractors. Suitable experience in high-volume, multi-unit and high-density housing will put you at a big advantage. 

Knowledge of AutoCAD software and Revit will be essential as the studio use a mix of both softwares on projects. 

Salary for this role will be open to discussion, with the experience, value and influence you can bring to the team being taken into account. This role is likely aimed at a mid-level Technician.
