Our Client is looking for a competent Planner/Officer who would be able to assist their Tree and Landscape Officer with a range of tasks.
These would include:
- The assessment and reporting on applications to undertake works to trees the subject of a Tree Preservation Order (TPO)
- Consideration of the 6-week notifications of proposed works to trees within conservation areas
- The making of new TPOs
- Potentially assisting in the consideration of tree and landscaping issues arising from planning applications, including advising on the discharging of relevant planning conditions.
The contract is for an initial 3 month period and can be carried out on either part-time or full time.
The work will involve site visits and a valid driving licence and ideally access to a car will be essential.
