Your new role
You will assist drainage crews on planning and programming of all works, collaborate with designers and agree solutions and maintain works within the budget as well as ensuring that staff and resources are available for emergencies in hours and out of hours. You will also be involved in implementing all requirements of the term contractor and within the supply chain partners to maintain the integrity of the drainage network. You will travel to sites across Northamptonshire to conduct inspections of culverts and man holes, identify issues and arrange for remedial works to take place.

What you'll need to succeed
You hold an HNC or ONC in Civil Engineering and ideally have experience in Local Authority Highways maintenance. You also have a Site Managers Safety Training Scheme - CITB and a IOSHH managing safely or NEBOSH construction certificate. You can demonstrate knowledge of the "Traffic Signs Regulations and General Direction" and Construction Design Management Regulations 2015 & the Management at Work Regulations 1999. You also know details of the Traffic Management Act and all other acts relating to working on the public highway.
