The role sits within the property development team, to help support the development and planning director in the provision of development advice across their substantial and diverse estate portfolio.
At the role's core is to make more effective use of the health estate, to implement strategies to reconfigure healthcare services and improve the quality of care, which in turn delivers better value, and ensures that the estate is managed sustainably and contributes to carbon reduction targets. The successful candidate will develop and maintain a company-wide approach to take development opportunities forward, ensuring consistency and within a clear framework to achieve desired outcomes.
As a Healthcare Planner, you will be working in a role that encompasses the responsibilities of managing aspects of project design, options analysis, best and latest HBN/HTM compliant practice in agreeing new healthcare environments and development opportunities through the whole development cycle; from feasibility stages, planning and design, to final delivery.
You will have a strong technical ability, and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and professionals, particularly within clinical service providers and commissioning groups. You must be able to manage multiple projects whilst working to tight deadlines; have excellent problem solving skills and be a strong decision maker. High levels of integrity, diplomacy, professionalism and discretion are key skills needed.
Salary offered is circa 55k, although with upwards flexibility if needed. Bonuses are also applicable.
