Your new role
You will undertake the duties of a Senior Permanent Way Design Engineer in the Derby office to assist delivering a portfolio of the biggest and most challenging UK projects. You will take a lead role on delivering a number of projects within the local market. There will also be the opportunity for you to work on overseas projects and with the internationally based design teams.

What you'll need to succeed
You are motivated, results driven leader who holds and you are a minimum of BTEC HND qualified in Civil Engineering and preferably Eng Tech from either PWI, ICE or IMech and willing to progress towards Incorporated or Chartered status. You have experience in all aspects of permanent way design and the delivery of multi-disciplinary railway projects. You can demonstrate experience at adhering to corporate assurance processes, recording design decisions and production of designer's risk assessments. You have a good ability to produce Technical reports and are an experienced user of Bentley MicroStation, Bentley Rail Track design software production and you have a proven record of working within a BIM environment. Your excellent working knowledge of UK rail industry standards, policies and procedures. and your excellent knowledge of Gauging requirements and ClearRoute outputs will be essential to your success.
