Architectural Assistant Part II

My client is a multi-award winning and established architectural practice in Shropshire that are looking to welcome an Architectural Assistant Part 2 to their growing team.

The practice has a diverse and varied portfolio of projects within a wide range of sectors that include city centre retail, healthcare, residential, new office and fit-out, transport, technology, student accommodation and higher education.

If you are looking for an architectural practice that will give you the opportunity to work on challenging and interesting projects, progress through a company and fulfil your potential as an Architect, then this is fantastic opportunity.

I am looking to talk with enthusiastic and motived Part 2 Assistants that can demonstrate good design and communication skills with previous experience of working in a UK based Architectural studio.

Requirements of the role will be to work on tender bids, submissions, planning applications and presentations. You’ll be expected to be responsible for the preparation of detailed design drawings, working drawings and schedules and specifications.

Skills in Revit are essential as the team are BIM users with Revit their preferred software. Experience in practice is ideal. Further skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe suite are key.

Salary is dependent upon experience but at this stage of career in a junior role, the most important aspect should always be the experience and skills you can learn with working with a top AJ firm.
