Senior Structural Engineer job in Leicestershire for a chartered Structural Engineer.
Your new company
You will become a key part of a market leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy who specialise in the high-quality delivery of a wide range of building structures projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
Your new role
You will play a leading part in the delivery of a wide range of small, medium and large building projects across numerous sectors. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Play a leading part in the delivery of a wide range of building projects from inception to completion
- Attend site projects and design team meetings as required
- Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with highly valued clients
- Lead projects independently on a range of contracts
- Aid the development of more junior team members
- Carry out structural design and analysis including reports on a range of projects
- Assist with bid proposals
What you'll need to succeed
You hold, or are working towards MIStructE / MICE / AMIStructE / AMICE or equivalent and you possess a minimum 5 years' experience within a UK based engineering consultancy. You can demonstrate previous experience of working with a range of materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry. You have excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and you think creatively and logically to resolve design challenges. You must have a clean driving licence and use of car as site visits are a key part of this role.
