Structural Engineer job in Leicestershire for Structural Engineer with at least 3 years post grad experience

Your new company
You will become a key part of a market leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy who specialise in the high-quality delivery of a wide range of building structures projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

Your new role
You will play a leading part in the delivery of a wide range of small, medium and large building projects across numerous sectors. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Play a leading part in the delivery of a wide range of building projects from inception to completion
  • Attend site projects and design team meetings as required
  • Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with highly valued clients
  • Lead projects independently on a range of contracts
  • Aid the development of more junior team members
  • Carry out structural design and analysis including reports on a range of projects
  • Assist with bid proposals


What you'll need to succeed
You have a minimum qualification of BEng/BSc Civil/Structural Engineering and you hold a Membership of the ICE or IstructE. You possess a minimum 2-3 years' experience within a UK based engineering consultancy. You can demonstrate previous experience of working with a range of materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry. You have excellent working knowledge of Tedds and AutoCAD and you think creatively and logically to resolve design challenges. You must have a clean driving licence and use of car as site visits are a key part of this role.
