Your new role
As a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Coordinator, you will be involved in the detailed digital mapping & analysis on our network inventory. Working collaboratively across many teams, you'll be required to read, review & accurately interpret network documents & site plans & relate to a digital environment such as digitising or remediating errors in existing data.

As a valued member of our client's lively and thriving GIS team, you'll be receiving as-built records, in electronic format, from build partners, transposing network records onto the GIS database and logging & correcting any defects, errors or issues identified. Upon starting you'll receive one week's full training at our fabulous Belshill offices, followed by any additional training needed delivered across a further 2 days per week.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a technical drawing environment (at least 1 year).
  • Previous experience of Geographical Information Systems (at least 1 year).
    • Analytically minded.
    • Ability to work as part of a team as well as working on your own.
    • Strong communication skills.
