Architectural Technologist/Technician

urban has some great new opportunities for Architectural Technologists to work with a great housing architectural practice.

Working on UK housing projects, including new build, refurbishment and remediation, in the private and affordable sectors, this role will see you working predominantly upon RIBA work stages 3-6, upon all things detail and construction related. You'll be using Revit daily and working closely with the practice architects and external consultancies.

The role would best suit an individual with a sound knowledge of UK housing building regulations and standards, a portfolio of residential projects and a confident day to day use of Revit. Experience in the following is also advantageous. 
 

- Facade experience for buildings above/below 18m

- able to guide the work of others and give direction on detailing and technical standards

- experience of communicating with client, consultant and contractor teams

- good range of experience with different structural framing systems (RC, timber & SFS etc.) and cladding types cladding
