Pre-Construction Design Manager

We are recruiting an experienced Pre-Construction Design Manager to join the passionate Pre-Con Capital Projects Team of one of UK's major Construction companies.

They have a diverse portfolio of projects, and they're seeking an individual who has a passion for their field, strong project ownership, the ability to secure work, whilst also being able to work within a large multi-disciplinary environment.

The requirement is within the portfolio of projects predominantly in the occupied building arena, including residential, commercial, public sectors, ranging from fire safety improvements to large internal and external refurbishment projects and construction works. Values ranging from £1m to £7.5m. You role will be key to the planned and sustained business growth of the department, through the production of client focused bid proposals within the firms core markets across the UK. As an integral member of the team, you'll coordinate and manage the production of high-quality design information from inception through to final submission, taking ownership of the process, design programme and documentation. You will need to ensure the management and production of all design information, whilst attending and hosting pre-tender and post tender design team meetings.
