Technically oriented Architect/Technologist or Senior Assistant for established Essex consultancy
One of Essex's most prominent and established multi-disciplinary practices is busier than they've ever been and therefore on the hunt for a either a highly experienced Architectural Assistant, qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their busy 12 strong architectural team. Conveniently located on the Essex/East London border this is a great opportunity for someone to really get their teeth into a sizable residential development.
They have been established for many years now and have built up an impressive list of built projects and clients. They have also introduced Revit into the office in the last few years and are using it more and more these days across all projects.
Due to a new project landing they now need to recruit a capable individual to look after the construction drawing package for a 400-unit RC frame residential development and take it through to site. You will be working closely with the Project Architect/Associate in charge of the scheme, but you will be given a huge amount of autonomy.
Their busy workload of projects consists of large scale residential, mixed use, education, hotel and commercial buildings. They are now looking to add a technically/construction oriented individual to join their sociable architectural division which is led by their highly sociable Senior Director! A high level of Revit and/or AutoCAD literacy is an absolute must!
Other than the specific project you will be given the opportunity to really get involved on an interesting mix of building types right from the initial feasibility stages through to completion on site.
If you're looking for Part 3 experience or post-planning/delivery stages exposure, then look no further! This office is offering flexible working conditions so you will be working from home and in the office on a weekly basis.
