Urban Designer

Pegasus Group are inviting Urban Designers to join our successful Design Team in our East Midlands office.

As part of a leading UK multi-disciplinary development consultancy, Pegasus Group’s Urban Design teams comprise of individuals with backgrounds in housebuilding, architectural practice, landscape architecture and planning consultancy.

Ideal candidates will have a demonstrable track record of:

• Working within private practice / consultancy or housebuilding
• Visioning and masterplanning.
• Understanding of contemporary urban design best practise and placemaking.
• Producing drawn and written information in support of outline, full and reserved matters planning applications.
• Excellent inter-personal and inter-disciplinary skills.Self-motivated with an excellent eye for detail.
• A working knowledge of elements of the planning system that affect design and an ability to adapt to specific local authority design guidance.
• Experience in residential layout design is preferable

Candidates will hold a relevant qualification and understand industry standard software packages such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Vectorworks, Sketchup etc, and be able to express ideas by hand.
