Job Details

Are you a Part 2 level architectural assistant (designer) looking for an opportunity to be a part of something new and exciting?

To join a studio that can offer you a case study for your Part 3 (PDR)? Somewhere to learn Revit projects on live BIM-based projects?

We are working with a forward-thinking studio that is set to make several hires at Part 2 level.

What's on offer?

  • Practical Revit project experience - on the job training!
  • Part 3 case study (post probation)
  • Lots of manageable small scale residential projects to work on and (depending on your abilities) to lead!

You will join a studio that offer both support & mentorship, from qualified architects.

In order to be considered for this post, our client is requesting applicants to demonstrate -

  • UK based private residential project experience.
  • A good understanding of UK planning policy &/or building regs
  • Enthusiasm & desire to work closely with clients (private homeowners)

Software: Revit is one of the most highly employable softwares in the market! This studio is offering a unique opportunity to pick up practical Revit experience, even if you haven't used it before (this is rare!), and can offer you training and coaching!

Clients: Your clients will be private residential (domestic) homeowners and you'll be working closely & directly with the client at every step, offering you an opportunity to work hand in hand and to influence the design.

RIBA Stage Experience: You will garner experience working on private residential schemes primarily from RIBA Stages 0-3, however, as mentioned this studio recognises the importance of helping AA's become accredited and will offer you the latter stage project exposure/responsibility you need to become qualified.

What you will learn; you will learn about multiple aspects of the building process, not limited to just design but also project costing and management. You will be coached and mentored in such a way that you will become a client facing expert, learning lots of transferable interpersonal skills that you can apply in many areas of your life and career moving forward. The type of skills that lay the foundation for anyone with long term aspirations to one day run their own studio.

Flexible Working: Our client is offering all of its employees the flexibility to work from both the office and from home. They also have a flexible approach to working hours with their core hours being 10.00-16,00, enabling staff the flexibility to start and finish earlier / later to suit their lifestyle.

Please do not delay your application, opportunities like this are rare & unique in this industry! If this sounds like an opportunity for you, apply now!
