architectural technician

Design 2 Finish is seeking an architectural technician to join its team in London.

Working closely with the directors, you will have responsibility for helping them deliver multiple residential projects, from planning applications to completion on site.

Responsibilities:

• development of concept designs and preparation of planning documents
• development of detailed design
• preparation of tender information and construction documents

Essential skills:

• demonstrate a good understanding of RIBA work stages
• understanding of the planning system
• understanding of construction procurement methods
• understanding of UK building regulations
• three to five years’ minimum experience in high end residential refurbishment projects for private clients
• excellent AutoCad
• enthusiasm for construction detail
• positive, outgoing, strong communicator
• thrive in a fast-paced working environment, to tight deadlines with a great attitude
• fluent in English, verbal and written
• driven and eager to learn and develop, with strong initiative
• good organisational skills and an ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
