Job Details
An established nationwide Architectural practice are currently on the search for a Revit proficient Architect and Revit Technician to work on a long term contract basis, outside IR35. This will be for 3-6 months however the likelihood is for a year long position. Rate circa £25/hr Ltd or Umbrella.
This position is heavily dependant on your Technical prowess, generally you'll be assisting with the delivery side of things and working on RIBA stage 4 drawings. So you should be very comfortable with producing quality detailing packages and construction drawings, there may be some work on the planning side of things and a bit if Stage 5. You should also be a confident communicator as you'll be coordinating between various offices within he company and teams within these offices. As mentioned above this is also a remote based position so you'll need the hardware in order to work independently, software will be provided. You will need to visit the Surrey office for meetings roughly once a fortnight.
The company in question have a varied portfolio, largely focusing within the residential and commercial sectors. There are a few care home schemes and high end residential projects so in an ideal world you should have some knowledge of these fields but generally a residential background or commercial background would suit. Revit fluency is vital for this role, you'll be expected to use Revit from day one without too much in the way of management on this.
