Job Details

I'm currently assisting an established multi-disciplinary practice in the Reading area in a search for an Associate Architect. This is a permanent position with a salary circa £60,000 pa depending on experience. 

This is a great opportunity to come into a well run practice at a senior level. You'll need to have around 10 years industry experience to be considered, you'll need to have worked in a managerial role in recent years as well. There will be an opportunity to develop and manage your own Architectural team. As well managing your own team you'll be coordinating between various teams and disciplines within the company. This is a client facing position so it's vital you have the confidence to present to clients as well as work alongside them throughout the design and delivery process. You'll also get involved with some business development within the company, be it from existing networks or new. 

You'll need a solid residential background, this particular office lean towards the residential sector as well as masterplanning. These are typically large scale residential developments spread across the South Home Counties. As well as residential and masterplanning experience it would be beneficial to have some knowledge of the education and commercial sectors. This is an overseeing leadership role however there may be times you'll need to get stuck into assisting in drawings from time to time. The company use AutoCAD and Revit, it would be ideal to have fluency in both however this is not a pre-requisite.
