Structural Engineer job in Burton Upon Trent. Minimum of 3 years post grad experience. Competitive Salary

Your new company
You will join an organisation who provides specialist ground, environmental, structural and design services for landowners and developers across the UK. They are experts in identifying solutions to ground and environmental hazards to ensure development projects can be delivered in a compliant and cost-efficient manner. Due to continued expansion and an increase in workload there is now an opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join the team.

Your new role
Your role sits within the Design Team and it will involve you working closely with Geotechnical & Environmental teams. You role will be supported by CAD and Structural Technicians, and the resources operated by the Design Manager. You will be working on a range of projects and in a range of materials including reinforced concrete, steel and timber.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 4 years experience in UK building practices including reinforced concrete, steel, and timber. You can demonstrate the ability to formulate remedial solutions for site construction issues. and you have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You have strong interpersonal / team working skills and can build good working relationship at all levels of the organisation, clients and contractors. You must have good understanding of relevant and current British regulatory guidance and a full UK Driving License (Category B manual gears).
