Architect (Residential OR Education Exp)

Urban are working in partnership with an established mid-sized design and delivery architectural studio in South Manchester that are looking to welcome the addition of an experienced Architect to their team.

The studio has a large and exciting portfolio of work that will ensure a very busy 2021 and beyond. The Architect will be joining a collaborative team in a supportive and warm environment working alongside fellow architects and technicians that are established in their profession.

The Architect must be motivated, passionate, enthusiastic and pro-active in their work with suitable experience coming through the RIBA plan of work from early design experience through construction, technical stages to on-site and completion.

 Suitable Architects will be RIBA and ARB qualified and be experience in both design and technical phases of projects. The team work collaboratively, so a supportive and approachable individual that staff can look up to and learn from will be key. 

The studio work primarily in the Residential and Education sectors, so a strong portfolio of work across either of these typologies will be key.

The studio are confident BIM users. Revit at BIM Level 2 is desirable. Training can be provided but expectations will be to have UK experience in BIM in practice.
