Clerk of Works / NEC Supervisor - Multidisciplinary practice

Your new company
A Multidisciplinary practice with offices across the country, specialising in residential, commercial, education and leisure sectors. Whilst ideally looking for someone on a permanent, full time basis, applicants looking for a part time role may also be considered at this time.

Your new role
As a Clerk of Works you will be working closely with the team across a range of projects and sectors in line with the specialisms of the practice. You will predominantly cover the Midlands and Yorkshire, however at times there may be projects further afield.

You will be the eyes and ears on site for clients, providing timely feedback on quality standards and project timelines. You will also be responsible for reviewing drawings and ensuring correct methods are being used throughout, raising discrepancies where appropriate.

Dependent on experience and qualifications, there may also be the opportunity to support CDM Consultants on various projects where appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role, preferably working within the education or commercial sectors. You will ideally be a member of ICWCI or hold an ECC Supervisor Accreditation, although extensive site based experience can be considered in lieu of this.

You will demonstrate sound experience of building regulations and technical design, from both a new build and fit out/refurb perspective, and experience of working on multiple projects at one time would also be highly beneficial.

What you'll get in return

  • Salary of up to £40,000
  • Company pension contribution
  • Private healthcare, with the option to add additional family members
  • Support towards professional training courses and memberships where appropriate
