Experienced Part II/Newly Qualified Architect/Interior Architect

Due to an expanding workload Jones Lambell LLP are looking to hire a talented and enthusiastic Part II Architectural Assistant, qualified Architect or Interior Architect.  Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and a passion for architecture and interiors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong design and creative approach to architectural design.  Prior experience in the high-end residential sector is essential.  Candidates should also be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe packages and SketchUp.  Fluency in both spoken and written English is required and the successful applicant will be required to bring a flexible and committed approach to the job.

Minimum requirements:

• Part 2 or Part 3 qualified with minimum 2-year post-Part 2 work experience in the UK

• Experience in all RIBA workstages
• Excellent understanding of, and appreciation for, materials and detailing
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, visual and written, including fluent English
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently
• Flexibility and ability to work effectively and efficiently on several projects at once, and a positive approach to a diverse and varied workload

• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the planning process
• Ability to prepare information for presentation to planners, clients and consultants
• Experience of preparing packages of technical information for construction
• Undertaking site visits and client correspondence as required
