As part of strategic growth plans, and in response to the pending departure of one member of the team, we are looking at recruiting additional people into the practice in the coming months and year ahead. Our immediate focus is in recruiting an additional Architect (role is flexible and could be tailored to suit a Senior Architect) to join the practice as soon as possible with a wider organic growth based on finding the right people rather than simply filling gaps as we seek to maintain quality levels and develop a practice of outstanding individuals with the expectation of growth into a strong national practice over the next 5yrs.

The ability to work directly with clients to develop schemes through all RIBA Work Stages is an essential skill for this role with experience in the UK an absolute pre-requisite. The successful candidate will be experienced in submitting planning applications, building regulations applications, tender packages and construction packages.

The role will suit a creative, energetic and ambitious Architect looking to be a part of a young and growing practice and who enjoys taking responsibility for delivery of their own projects and for dealing directly with clients, planning officers and other design consultants.

The role has some flexibility and may be tailored to suit a Senior Architect with suitable experience and capability to lead other Architects and Assistants where desired.

We are also open to hearing from high-quality, experienced Part II's who are interested in joining our team.

Our primary software tools are AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and V-Ray with experience preferred but not essential as time can be allowed to develop skills in these packages where they haven't been used previously.

Experience in the delivery of BIM Level II projects is a further advantageous trait.

Salary will be determined based on the successful candidates experience and attributes.

In order to express your interest, please write in the first instance to chris@indigo-architecture.co.uk with a copy of your CV and portfolio.

NB. Our website is significantly out of date and is due to be updated in 2022. Please contact us directly if you wish to discuss and receive additional practice information to learn more about our projects and how we work and to discuss the role further on an informal basis.
