Architectural Technician orTechnologist

Based in south-east London, this well-established and award-winning multidisciplinary practice of chartered surveyors and construction consultants is looking for an Architectural technician or technologist to join their in-house team. You will have the opportunity to grow your portfolio on a range of UK-based education, housing and leisure projects collaborating closely with surveyors, project managers and other in-house construction specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing detailed technical proposals for a UK housing project at RIBA stages 4-5.
• Collaborating with in-house surveyors to ensure a buildable solution.
• Coordinating with the contractor and external consultants.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5-years professional experience.
• Qualified or working towards technologist qualification.
• Significant experience at RIBA stages 4-5 with a focus on UK housing projects.
• Thorough knowledge of UK building regulations and technical standards.
• Experience producing drawing information in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Able to produce drawings to a high level of detail and accuracy.
• Experience with working on cladding replacement schemes is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in dealing with statutory authorities, consultants, manufacturers/suppliers
• Capable of working independently to produce details and buildable design solutions.
• Passionate about architectural technology, construction methods and willing to learn.
