An interesting and exciting opportunity for a RIBA qualified Architect to join a leading property consultancy. The role is to cover a 12-month maternity leave period. The company is a major asset manager and advisor on real estate and real estate loans. They offer consultancy advice to help their clients maximise on property challenges across a variety of building sectors, across the globe. Their UK business has a specialist arm, serving the public sector in providing Advisory, Asset Management and Regeneration services to Housing Associations.
The opportunity is for an energetic, proactive RIBA qualified Architect to join and assist the regeneration team with the architectural and contract administration services for major works projects, largely within their housing association client base. The successful candidate will lead the design and be part of the management and delivery of a residential portfolio's regeneration, working closely with the real estate strategy team.
It is a very rounded role, and as the lead architect within the team your duties will encompass the whole design journey from initial briefing, feasibility, and conceptual design, through design development, sub-contractor appointment, construction, and all the way to handover.
The organisation is seeking a RIBA chartered architect, with at least 5 years post part iii experience. You will have demonstrable experience across all RIBA stages and through understanding of UK Planning law, JCT contracts, party wall matters and building regulations. Ideally you will have residential experience across varying scale. The company uses Vectorworks, and some previous usage would also be beneficial.
