Your new role
As the new BIM / Digital Manager, you'll be responsible for the BIM / digital strategy, working collaboratively with engineering technical disciplines and wider to ensure that it fits the business aspirations. With experience on workflow and data management systems such as BIM Collaborative Pro (BIM360) you will work across the Engineering service line to help promote collaborative working.
Joining as part of the Engineering team, but potentially providing wider support across the business; you'll have a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage the BIM / Digital strategy for the company. This will involve creating and evolving the BIM strategy, focused on business goals whilst ensuring that the business is compliant with a minimum of Level-2 BIM and aligned to all relevant BIM standards and government strategies.
You will be working with other members of the digital team to ensure that platforms are integrated with projects and aligned with the digital strategy; and will manage the relationship with the digital team and BIM user base, ensuring that they are kept up to date with process and technology changes.
Along with the wider digital team, you will support the users in making the most of the platform, upskilling people and ensuring they have the required competencies; and will champion the use of the BIM platform across the Engineering service line and the wider business. With experience in Autodesk products (preferably) such as Civils 3-D, Infraworks, BIM 360/Collaborative Pro, you will assist in developing these skills and standards across the European business.
What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced BIM/Digital manager, you will bring the necessary expertise to succeed in this exciting role; and I would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
* Experience working in the UK in an environmental / engineering consultancy, with demonstrable knowledge of the production of digital output for engineering projects.
* Experience of leading and managing a team delivering digital output.
* A self-starter with the motivation to develop and implement strategies.
* Strong leadership, project management, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence in communicating and presenting to internal and external audiences.
* Must have a full, current, driving licence valid in the UK.
