Clerk of Works

An AJ100 practice with national offices is looking for a senior architect or technologist with substantial site and coordination experience for a clerk of works role. Established over 40 years ago and with a broad range of built projects from education to aviation, this practice champions projects of all scales and typologies. The emphasis in London will be on large developer led housing schemes up to 250 million. This is a great opportunity for someone who doesn't enjoy being tied to a desk but overseeing drawings, problem solving on site and making sure projects are delivered accordingly and to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

• On site daily coordinating with contractors.
• Taking photographs of site progress and reporting to design team.
• Marking up drawing packages in Revit and/or AutoCAD.

Skills and Experience

• Fully qualified architect or technologist with large-scale project experience, ideally within UK housing.
• Expert technical knowledge with significant experience overseeing construction on site of large scale projects.
• Excellent coordination and management experience.
• Strong career record with the desire to commit to a practice long term.
• Desire to be on site daily in a inspection/supervision role.
• Working knowledge of Revit.
