Project Quantity Surveyor

Permanent Project Quantity Surveyor - Derbyshire - Small / Medium Civils - up to £55k + Package

Your new company
You will be working for an established civils contractor that are based in Derbyshire. Despite the recent events this organisation have continued to win projects and are now looking to expand the commercial team by adding a Project Quantity Surveyor. The organisation complete small / medium civil engineering works, industrial build, drainage and concrete structures. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that has a winning combination of a family run feel and stability.

Your new role
You will be a hands on Quantity Surveyor that will ensure the projects are ran in accordance with the contract stipulations. You will be working on Industrial buildings, small/medium scale civil engineering projects, drainage and concrete structures with values up to £500k. You will be running multiple projects simultaneously. Your role will involve measurement, Valuations, subcontract procurement, Cost reporting, and Claims / Disputes. You will have NEC 3, JCT and ICE contract knowledge.

What you'll need to succeed
The role is a hands on role running projects. You will have between 5 and 10 years of postgraduate experience working for a contractor in a similar role. You will hold a Quantity Surveying Degree and a Full UK Driving license
